[SOLVED] CPU, Motherboard and RAM upgrade

Hello, I current have a custom bulit PC specs below:
i5 4460 processor
H81-s2h motherboard
Windows 10 digital copy not OEM
8 GB Ram

I am going to upgrade to:
i7 9700k
16 GB RAM
MPG Z390 Motherboard

Would I need to do a fresh install of windows or would I just need to reactivate it?
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you're likely to need a fresh install. Even minimal hardware changes can require a fresh install. With a new MOBO and CPU, I think it's likely you'll have to reinstall.

It's possible you'll get lucky and not have to, but I think that's fairly unlikely.

Thanks for the reply; I will back up my documents then do a fresh install onto the hard drive.
