CPU/Motherboard Combo help?

i'm not sure if I should get a better motherboard and a worse CPU (Upgrade-ability), or a better CPU and get a worse motherboard. I'm on a 530$ budget and I already have storage.

get a decent z97 motherboard and the overclocakble pentium CPU. then upgrade to the new broadwells when the come out.
