My current build is:
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070
CPU: AMD Athlon x4 760k Quad Core
Memory: 12GB
OS: Windows 10
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G2 80 Plus Gold
Motherboard: A68HM-K Asus

Also, I know my current CPU is bottlenecking my GPU hard and am in desperate need of a new one.
Will these two parts be sufficient enough to let the 1070 live it's wildest dreams?

The processor I want:

The motherboard I want:

Solution
I cannot say if it will always be able to keep up, but I can say that it would run on the I5-2500K much better than the Athlon 760k. I am certain that the 760K would bottleneck things quite often. The i5 whould be able to keep up at least most of the time.
i qm not sure what you think you are going to gain my selecting a 5 year old CPU and motherboard, but there have been so many advances in new technology in the past 5 years that I ecourage you to consider getting an I5-4670K and a Z97 motherboard.

Even better is going up to Skylake and the I5-6700K with a Z170 motherboard. But that will require DDR4 memory in most cases as well.

Reason being, I'm on a budget. I blew most of my money on the 1070, not thinking, sadly. However, I can get a i5-2500k processor and the P8Z69 for $150. I just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't bottleneck my GPU.
