Hello!

I have a 760GM-P34 FX motherboard. Wondering what the best processor I can put in this for gaming? Can it support the Ryzen 7 2700FX?

Or..should I even bother with upgrading this PC or just build completely new?

I have a GT 720 graphics card and 8gb RAM currently. 450 Watts power supply. Can’t remember what the hard drive is off the top of my head.

Trying to keep costs low on upgrading/building.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Ryzen certainly not, it would require whole new system, MB, CPU and RAM at least. Which CPU you have now ? Best CPU I would go for on that MB would be FX 6350.

Thanks for this! I think I will go that route. Just didn’t know if anything was worth saving. Maybe I’ll spend a little more and upgrade to the Ryzen 7 too.
