Good afternoon folks, i'm in dire need of some help, since i'm not really good with hardware.

I'm currently looking at buying, some new hardware for my pc, namely a cpu & a motherbord.

My current specs are

b150 pro gaming/aura Motherboard

i5 6600k 3.5gz CPU

Corsair air watercooler, dont know the exact moduel

16GB 2133mhz vengeance RAM

Corsair TX650m PSU

RTX 2060 6gb

500gb Kingston SSD

i have been looking at a budget friendly

Intel Core i5-10600K

ASUS ROG Strix B460-F

434,83 Euro

and a more expensive one that would streach my budget to it's limits

ASUS ROG Strix Z490-F GAMING

Intel Core i7-10700K

697,26euro

Would these components, work with the rest of my setup, or would i need to get a new cpu cooler or something like that aswell?

i would like to hear, what your thoughts and suggestions on these two setups, or if i should buy, something totaly diffrent.

for the first setup dont go with the K version of 10600,since B460 chipset doesnt support overclocking,it would be a waste of money.
For the second setup i dont see anything wrong with it

Presuming you use is for gaming, keep the i5-10600K but use a Z490 based motherboard.
That gives you the option to overclock if you want to.
In gaming the main difference between the i5 and i7 is 12 vs. 16 threads. The boost clocks are similar.
8 threads is enough for gaming.
A cooler that works with a 6600K will also serve a 10600K
Here is a review of the 10600K:
