CPU mounting holes different on the ASUS P6T motherboard

Hello All,

I have a Kandalf LCS Case and I am in the process of upgrading the motherboard.
I purchased the following:
1 x Aqua Brazing CPU Waterblock
1 x Aqua Bay M5
1 x Aqua Bay M1

The motherboard is a ASUS P6T Deluxe with OC Palm edition

My problem is the mounting holes on the P6T are different to the brackets supplied with the Aqua Brazing CPU Waterblock, the fan supplied with the i7 CPU fits so now I need help - Anyone!!!!

that is because, the holes on your motherboard are socket 1366, and the mounting holes on your water block are most likely socket 775

Yep, your water block needs an adaptor plate. It's different, been discussed since early last year that the holes are diff on the i7.
