cpu not starting up

My cpu is not starting up and when I opened it up only a yellow light is on the motherboard which means it's not a supply problem and I too replaced my CMOS battery but it's no use
Can anybody please help me

Go through Tom's checklist carefully - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

If that doesn't help, you'll need to start changing components.
