Hi,
I upgraded my mobo and CPU to an i-7 9700k.

I get a stable O/C at 5.1ghz with 1.2 voltage and 70C package temps.

When I try to go to 5.2ghz I keep getting the blue screen. I've gone up to 1.215 voltage.

Does this mean that I have reached the end of my O/C or I should continue to increase the voltage?

This is only the second computer that I'm overclocking and I'm not sure when one should 'give up'.

Thanks

What cooler are you using? Be careful with temps.
5.1Ghz @ 1.2v is great. If it were me I would probably stop there.
1.4v has been considered safe as long as your temps stay 80ºC or lower under full stress. Remember, each CPU is different. You could also be shortening the lifespan of your new CPU by running it continually at 1.4v, trying to get a paltry extra 100-200Mhz.

Edit: When you say 'stable' do you mean AVX offset at 0 and running Prime95 smallFFT for 30+ mins 'stable'?

How good do you need to be?
Apart from bragging rights, you should hardly detect the difference between 5.1 and 5.2.
With or without AVX considerations makes a difference also.
Fwiw , here are some binning statistics from Silicon lottery:
As of 2/6/2019
What percent can get an overclock at a somewhat sane Vcore in the 1.337 to 1.375 range.
And AVX offset = 2.

I7-9700K

5.2 10%
5.1 35%
5.0 78%
4.9 100%

I stress tested with Realbench for 4h with no errors but I think the 8h test restarted my computer. I'll have to re-run the test.

Do you think that the 4h test is enough if it crashes at 8?

I have been playing games with no issues.

If your system crashes or restarts then there's a problem and you should identify the cause and correct it. I personally would be driven crazy if I knew my system had an unresolved problem.
