Hey guys, I read many topics on this forum but still couldn't find exact answer for my current condition. My pc is really old, I know the fact but I just can't afford a new mobo and cpu at the time so I will try to find out what I can do with my current system.
Mobo: Gigabyte EX38T-DQ6
CPU: Q6600-G0 @ 2.4 Ghz, never OC'ed
RAM: 4x1 GB 1333 Mhz ddr3 Corsair xms 3 (this week I will buy 1x4GB Corsair xms 3 1333 mbz to make it 7 GB in total.
GPU: Just bought and installed the Asus HD 7870 direct cu ii 2gb 256 bit
PSU: 800 W Tagan 2 Force II series
HDD: Cavier black / no ssd
At this current settings I can play Battlefield 4 with all ultra settings flawlessly at most of the times but sometimes the game lags for a short period of time and I am sure its not because of the GPU when I check gpu history monitor.
If I OC my CPU to 3.0 or 3.3ish, will I have chance to have a total flawless play in battlefield 4?
I know that there are many real pros on this forum and thanks to anyone who are willing to help me. Thanks guys
