CPU odd idle and load temps.

I have a fx 6300 at 1.5125 volts running at 4.7 GHZ. I just installed a new water cooler Antec 650, and i have odd temps. My idle temp is about 47-50 C but my load temps are 60 C. Also note that i didnt do the best installation, and that my thermal paste did not perfectly contact my cpu. bc of how bad the mounting situation was, i split the back plate screw in half, but overall the block is quite tight on my cpu. anyways, is this normal to have? or should i underclock my cpu more. btw if I have a sorta highish idle temp, will it decrease the performance/lifespan of my cpu? thanks.

I'd say that the issues with installation may be the root of your issues. With a new cooler not being mounted 100% right and then also not having the best application of Thermal Paste I'd either underclock more, or re apply TP and re mount.
