CPU Only Custom Loop?

So I'm just wondering if I could custom loop just my CPU. I just want it for aesthetic purposes. I'm also on a tight budget, so would it be recommendable?

Yes, you can. The first thing to consider though is that a custom loop is not simple to do, has more points of possible failure and will require regular maintenance (drain,flush and refill every 6 months or so). If you are happy to give it a go still, there are bundles being sold that will supply you with everything you need and will eliminate any guess work or chance of forgetting something.

If you're on a tight budget, a custom loop probably isn't a very good use of funds. I'm sure that the hundreds of dollars required would be much better put toward other components.

What are the specs of the system you were planning on doing this for?
