I use a i7 4790k processor; quad core, recently i have noticed it getting a lot slower so i decided to reinstall windows, completely wiping my entire PC.
This didn't completely solve the slowness problem, and when i go on task manager I've noticed only 1 core is being read (and 1 logical processor)
I installed CPU-Z to confirm this and it gives the same 1 core 1 thread response
What can i do to revert this to using all 4 cores? I have attempted resetting BIOS settings to default
Note : under bios it does show there are 4 cores, i have attempted to uninstall drivers and restart the computer but there was no effect
