[SOLVED] CPU or GPU bottleneck for specific hardward

I am looking to upgrade my CPU and GPU, Ryzen 7 3700x and a RTX 2070Super, based on some bottleneck calculators, my GPU is the bottleneck.


My question is would it be better for me to lower the CPU or just go as it is, because upgrading the GPU past the 2070Super is out of my budget.


1440p 144hz gaming with a few chrome tabs open and YouTube/Netflix running would be what I am aiming for (2-3 Monitors).

Bottleneck calculators dont work. I wouldnt advise to use them

You'll be just fine with a 3700x and a RTX2070S combo without any bottlenecking.

dont take that bottleneck to serious its not a bottleneck and for 1440p 144hz you are great, you can be better with a 2080ti but it will do the job fine, uif you can get the 3700x and the 2070 super buy them

Bottleneck calculators are misleading garbage, avoid.

I have a 3700X with 2080 Super and it’s a brilliant combination for 1440p 144Hz. I am sure a 2070 Super with the 3700X and 3200-3600mhz dual channel RAM will be a great setup.
