Discussion CPU or GPU bottleneck?

Would you rather have your CPU be the bottleneck or GPU?

(I know a bottleneck is never good but I just had this on my mind and I decided to ask you guys!)

Every system has a "bottleneck" of some sort.

CPU, GPU, RAM, user....

That is in the top 3 misused and misunderstood terms around.

GPU because a GPU bottleneck can easily be loosened by lowering details until faster GPUs become affordable.

When you hit a CPU bottleneck, there aren't many game settings that you can lower to help, which means that's pretty much the end of that and the only solution is usually a new, faster, more expensive CPU, possibly with a new, more expensive motherboard and faster, more expensive RAM.
