CPU or GPU upgrade?

I'm looking to upgrade either my CPU or GPU but I keep waffling between the two, any thoughts would be welcome.

CPU- I5 2400
GPU- GTX 660
Mobo- ASUS P8Z77-V LK
Ram- 16GB DDR3
PSU- Thermaltake 500w

Typical games played:
BF4, Diablo 3, various mobas

I have a budget of around $400 US. Your help would be appreciated.

The processor isn't bad. I would say GPU. Depending if you need a power supply upgrade or not we can help from there.

Then the best GPU is a GTX 970. Your CPU takes around 95 watts, you should be fine

The EVGA card is a bit cheaper and seems to be about the same?

The GTX 970 by asus has better cooling. Other than that, its up to you. If it were me, I would get the ASUS model.
