The OP mentions a GTX750, and not a GTX750ti, therefore the link you posted is incorrect. Even if the information is incorrect, the GTX960 would provide a big improvement compared to both the 750 and the 750ti.

Well, have a look at these comparisons http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-950-vs-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti
IMO, there really isn't much of a difference between the two, not significant at least. If you can make the investment, GTX 970 is a much better investment.
But if you're going to upgrade one or the other, I would honestly go with the CPU since there isn't going to be a significant difference between the 750 or 950.

Didn't catch the ti, here you go http://

The OP said GTX 750 not GTX 750ti. There's a 15% difference there for a start.

Upgrading the CPU will give no to little speed improvement to gaming with a GTX 750.

I do agree with forgetting about the GTX 950. That's not worth it as an upgrade.

The GTX960 would provide some pretty big improvements over your card, as shown by this graph on Nvidia's website based on 3Dmark Firestrike results. GTX 960 relative performance index

You can also see that the results for the 950 are about 40-45 percent higher than the 750ti and about 50% higher than the regular 750.

I would recommend the GTX960, as you can find one for less than 200$ in the US, but you're the one making the decision. I would also upgrade the GPU before the CPU, but I would start saving to purchase a better CPU in the mid-future.
