CPU or GPU upgrade

Hello,
My current build is a fx 8350 and a rx 460 2gb

I want to upgrade either the fx 8350 to a ryzen 3 1200
or
rx 460 2gb to a r9 280x or a gtx 1050ti (something along those lines)

Which should i chose? The games I play are csgo and minecraft

The CPU. Prices for GPU are stupid right now, so I would hold off for a bit.

However, for the new CPU, you will need a new Motherboard and DDR4 RAM.

I can get a new mb and ddr4 ram with only little cost so that doesn't bother me

Okay, then go with the CPU. If all you are playing is Minecraft and CSGO, the 460 will suffice for now.

Yup, for those games, CPU upgrade is the best option. But the 460 won't suffice if you want to play AAA on high settings. Unfortunately, there's no decent card with a decent price tag nowadays.


What's your budget for the upgrade?
