I am currently using a Rx 580 Strix, i5 7500 with aio, matx by msi, and a benq 1080p, 60hz.
I am still saving up, currently I have $200. And the monitor is for $350 the Asus VG248** and the CPU is a i7 7820x for $550.
So the question is which one do I get first?

Solution
If you plan on gaming then dont buy the CPU it wont give any performance boost. The i5 7500 will work just fine for you, i suggest getting the monitor. If you plan on doing workstation task or editing then save up to buy a 2k or 4k monitor, 144Hz is only useful in gaming.

I would not get either.
The monitor you have is fine for your video card.
The processor will not work with your motherboard so you would have to buy a new board as well.

I’m just gaming, but I’m thinking of getting into VR, suggestions
