CPU or Motherboard dead?

I purchased the Asus A320m-k matx motherboard for my Ryzen 3 1200, I put the CUP in properly quadruple checked all cables and headed pins and I was wearing an ESD wrist strap. The mobo had the onboard led strip on when I set the psu switch to on but when I try to power in the system by pressing pc case switch nothing happens, nothing makes a sound no fans no nothing. The case works fine with my old mobo. Checked online for F header pin connections and I had it right. Is my motherboard dead or is it something else?


P.S. My psu and other old parts work perfectly fine, and I checked to make sure I put the ram in the correct dim.

Try testing the board outside the case, with only CPU and CPU cooler installed.

I tried jump starting without the PC case with a screw driver and once again no response in any shape or form.

Then it might be a defective board. Try RMA-ing it.
