CPU or RAM? Which is the culprit?

I have just bought a new motherboard for my PC but after all the assembly process and the On button was pressed all that happened was the green power light was on(no red HDD light) and the fan was spinning but nothing on the monitor, that`s it.

So, which do you believe is the culprit here, my RAM stick(I only have one 4Gb DDR3 stick) or my i3 4130 processor?

the ram is definetly the ram. its faulty. this happened to me and it would only boot is you were to restart the system multiple times whilst in the botting proccess.
