Cpu or Ram?

What would impact the performance in gaming? a CPU or ram, I'm look to buy some ram but i'm more concerned about my CPU (which is soldered).

I see you actually posted some details half a minute before my reply....I didn't refresh the page so never saw them.
Those specs sound like a Laptop computer, is it? If not, you've got a very slow i3 for a desktop.
I'll assume it is a laptop, in which case you can't change the CPU but you can increase the RAM. However, I don't know if you need more RAM, given the low end CPU and lack of graphics, your computer probably never uses more than 4GB of RAM, you should open the task manager and see how much memory is being used.

Long term, to get better performance you may need to get a better computer.

nah, i looked into it the computer was eating up ram more than i did with pizza. The CPU however remained quite neutral since it used up around 5 - 12% of it but the ram was around 89 - 96%.
