CPU over clocking & cooling system

Hello guys

i have a i5 2500k should i change my cooling system when overclocking 3.3 to 3.5 ?

At 3.3 , 3.5 don't have to change the cooler. If you want to go higher must to change the cooler.

stock cooler should be good for 4ghz to 4.2ghz range

over that then get aftermarket cooler

I agree^

To my mind a simple $30 cooler like a cm hyper212 or Xigmatek gaia is a good idea anyway.

It will keep your pc quieter under load and let you oc higher.

Backplate mount is easier and more secure too.
