Cpu over temperature error!

Hello, inbuilt my pc around 8 months ago and had no problems what so ever, the past week I've been getting a warning saying 'CPU OVER TEMPERATURE ERROR!' On start up, I've tried resetting bios back to default. I've even tried multiply softwares to see if there was a glitch there, I am currently using AI Suit and NZXT CAM. I've also made sure the cpu cooler is correctly attached and changed the thermal compound multiple times.

I7 4770k haswell
EVGA gtx 1080
Corsair vengance 16gb

Any information/help will be greatly appreciated.

You should upgrade your heatsink. Adding better or more fan would also help. Not much you can really say maybe try replace the thermal paste maybe clean up dust.

Just recently bought the cpu cooler not so long back, it has a double rad. I've also got 5 case fans installed, I've tried multiple times to change the thermal compound and cleaned the entire thing this morning

maybe its just summer and thats why its hot or maybe someathings wrong with your cpu

It's deffiantly the cooler, put my old corsair h100 in just to test and everything was working fine,
