CPU overclock BSOD

I decided to overclock my cpu after upgrading my gpu. It ran fine for about 4 Hours of hard PUBG playing after which the cpu overheated and I got a bsod. I reboot and get to my desktop but I am unable to load up any programs and receive an error that says the application has failed to start because it’s side-by-side configuration is incorrect. What gives?

2) Exactly what settings did you change in order to OC it?
3) What make/model motherboard?
4) What's your CPU cooler?
5) Have you installed a CPU temp monitor app, like core temp, to watch your temps? What are your temps?
