CPU Overclocking Help

i want to overclock my cpu, whats the best way to do it? i'm new to cpu overclocking
i have a shitty AMD Atlhon II X2 250 3.00ghz and a ASRock N68-VS3 UCC motherboard, help pls

I will warn you that the motherboard you have will not hold up to much overclocking. you will run into heat and voltage issues. Other than that being an athlon II you will need to increase the the hyper transport speed/front side bus as it used to be called in order to overclock it. Doing so increases the speed of everything including ram. Best to read up on base clock, hyper transport, front side bus and general overclocking before you attempt to overclock.
