Hello. My ram is corsair vengeance 2666 2x8gb sticks. In my bios it states they only run at 2133. When i change the speed to what it what advertised for, my ryzen 5 1600x base clock goes from 3.6ghz to 3.9ghz which lets my pc crash because i dont have liquid cooling to keep the temp under control. Can i get my ram to optimal speed without having my cpu overclock? I do not know much about changing volts.

turn on docp/xmp ram profile in bios
Ive turned on the docp profile as well and it also sets my cpu core clock to around 3.8-3.9ghz

Try setting RAM speed manually independently of XMP (leave it off) maybe under advanced settings or something like that.
Ive tried turning docp of and setting ram speed to 2666 and then turn the cpu clock down manually to its normal base clock but when i check speeds in windows its back to being overclocked
