Last time i noticed my computer is running slower than allways, I decided to check what's the problem is.
So i found out that my CPU's temperatures are VERY high (idle -70c, full load - up to 120c), I know it's crazy and it can permenently damage my computer.
After i found the problem i tried to solve it by cleaning all the dust inside the PC, Also my friend recommended to reapply the thermal paste and I did it. Its actually helped a little bit with the temperature, but not a dramatic defference.
So i wonder why its so hot??? I hope that here anybody can help me fix that.

Some more info:
I use the stock intel cooler, its always running 1800-2000 RPM.
I turned the 80c alarm off (from the BIOS).
Also tried updaing BIOS itself - it didnt helped.

Solution
have you checked the heat sync is attached properly and the past hasnt gone bad?
yorkfeilds didnt run particularly hot (typically 35-40'c at idle, 55-65 at load on stock cooling) so yeah thats way to warm.
if the paste is gritty (likely if it hasnt been replaced in 5 years) then get some arctic silver 5.

edit my bad i didnt read all your question... LAZYITUS on my part...
check you locked the heatsync down with the correct amount of pressure.

Solution

The cooler works great (it seems), looks like my next step to try to fix it will be bying a new cooler (not a stock one)

I will check if the heatsink is properly locked.

YES!!! thank you! you was right! i actually didn't correctly locked in the heatsink's pins
not its running just awesome! (30c idle, 60c full load)
