CPU Overheating But Computer is clean

The issue is my cpu is overheating so why dont i just clean my heatsink fan etc. and use a diffrent thermal paste. Altough i already did those and i dont know what to do.
CPU: amd phenom ii x4 965
GPU: Radeon HD 6970 Powercolor
Motherboard:GA-MA785GT-UD3H
Ram:Zipline 4 gb 1333 mhz
BTW i whant to solve this without a new fan or something
and my CPU fan is stock fan.
My temps are 60 degrees on idle on load over 100 degrees.
İ used to have a diffrent cpu amd athlon x3 440 after i bought this i started having heat issues.

Are you using the stock cooler or an aftermarket one? you might want to look into something such as a Corsair H110 cooler.

Corsair H110 cooler may be overdoing it for that processor even if OCed to the max but any air cooler with 120mm fan and 3 heat pipes would be more than enough,

It was just the first cooler that came to mind
