CPU Overheating for unknown reason

Hello,

My cpu is overheating and i am not able to tell why, its dust free and the paste is new and fresh.
I observation my cpu activity and find out that my cpu usage is over 50% causing my cpu to overheat only when my PC is connected to internet.

it's hard to tell without knowing your temp readings, specs and temp monitor programs. please post that information.

Hi, if temps are under 65 your temps are fine.
If the computer restart and the temps are below 65, the cpu is not overheating, the problem lies elsewhere.

Could be a faulty PSU or malware

When my pc is idle temps;
CPU 65 - 70 C
GPU 36 - 40 C

and the program is Speccy.

When i restart my pc and i disconect from the internet the cpu usage is 0 - 2% and the temps are normal, the problem is only when i connect to the internet the cpu usage rise over 50% and the temps as well.

okay. what cpu cooler are you using?
have you made sure your cpu hsf is fit properly i.e. no looseness anywhere?
if you put your hand behind the case exhaust fan, is the air hot to touch? 60-70c will feel noticeably hotter.

we still need a bit more details like what power supply, casde model, fan profiles.

check your cpu loads from task manager or microsoft sysinternals process explorer.

from preliminary info it looks like fitment issue with the cpu hsf.

Remove HSF and clean. Clean off CPU and reapply with quality paste. Give at least a couple days to start curing. Report back with temps.

The cooler is the original one, the one they gave with the cpu. The power supply is "Corsair-CX750". And the air from the exhaust is cool.
I will try do a format beacuse the problem must be in the software of my PC. The CPU usage is realy hight for and idle PC its over 50%.

are you using only speccy to monitor temps or are you running any other monitoring utilities simultaneously?

is the cooler fit will on the motherboard? check if any of the push pins are loose or if the HSF seems lopsided. do you hear any vibrating noise from the cpu area?

when you disable your internet connection, does the cpu load go down and temps drop?

when the cpu is exhausting 60c+ air, the exhaust air shouldn't be cool to touch.

The problem is solved. The CPU was overheating because of overuse. My CPU usage was stable at 50% and higher only when the PC was conneced to internet. I am not sure why it was happening , if it was a virus or a broken program but i did a format and everything now is fine. Thank you everyone for the help.
