CPU Overheating , may due to lack of space ?

Hey i have this problem with my cpu overheating when solicitated in games and shutting down. I changed my CPU to a dual core and same thing (with this one is harder to shut down but not impossible) after i installed a lot of fans on my case i realised that the cpu could overheat because of where the PC may be , should i move it to this position ? (check photos) .

PSU: 300w
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 BE-2400 2,3ghz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT 1GB 128-bit
RAM: 4GB DDR2
Motherboard: HP Nance
I have the cpu fan , 2 case fans and one on my video card and still overheating when CPU is hard used on games , and when in the room is hot . (sorry for my english and thanks you)

run a cpu temperature monito software like coretemp and tell us what your temps are.the pc is perfectly fine there you do not nees to move it.when you replaced cpu did you replace thermal paste?
it looks like it might be a psu problem its just enoughf to run your system and if its not a good quality i dought it whould be enoghf.

First i would like to do is... do a full cleaning... remove any dust may in the fan heatsink mobo.. (cpu, gpu, vrm, psu, etc)...

second since u live in hot place, removing side panel could helps.. (blowing air to it using desk fan are better )

If that not helps u may need consider better case & cooler...

u can also try reapply the TIM (thermal paste)....

Of course , i replaced the paste too , i tried with many thermal compounds thet i found in my town... i'm running coretemp constantly... in many games that are full screen i dont see the temp. but its around 50 - 70 depends on the room temeprature. When i play a game for long time in about an hour or so it shuts down.. depending on the room temeprature. If i play Minecraft (that is windowed) and even i let my window open i have like 20 - 24 C in the room , in time i got a 60 C on the CPU and then mucher i play the temperature is rising slowly ... until 78 - 79 and then shuts down . I got this problem for a long time ... i think the video card is overheating and it overheats the cpu aswell and from that result the shut down ? I don't know... if someone could help... i had posted this problem here before... before i changed my cpu.. now with this one does the same thing.

Yes the GPU is even higher than the CPU , i have like 70 C when i play games even if the CPU is like 50 - 60.
I chaned the thermal paste on the GPU aswell , and the 9500 GT that i own has that stock radiator and i also added a fan on it to blow air. Any ideas on how to cool it better ? Here a photo of my inner case.. sorry for that mess , is before i cleaned the dust out and it has some changes now. 2 fans are added. An Artic Cooling and a stock case fan that i put on the GPU holes at the back.

check the power supply.the motherboard is a batx it was made to keep the cpu cooler but eventualy atx took the lead.the gpu is normal to have that temperature.

How do i check the PSU ? I don't have another one...

do you have a mltimeter lying around?if you do you need to shutdown everything and unplug everything.
at the 24 pin motherboard conector you will jump the green with a black wire and the psu ill start.
after that with a multimeter you will check the voltages orange 3.3 red 5 yellow 12 blue -12 purple 5 and grey 5.

try this go in to the bios and under hardware monitor it should give you voltages 3.3 5 and 12v.
athough it whould be best if you someone could lend you a psu because even whith the right voltages the psu might not be able to give you the power required and its realy hard to tell by only mesuring voltages.

Yeah , i will search for a friends psu ... and about the BIOS , under hardware monitor only shows the cpu and fan's rpm. The psu needs to be the same at this one ?

watever more than 300 watt will do i calculated it at 270 at peak it might reach 300.
you changed cpu you changed thermal paste so there should be no problem.
it might be unstable voltage due to faulty power supply or faulty regulators on the motherboard.

Ok i will try like this , now browsing for some PSU... i'll come back with more info after i test this.

the cpu runs at a voltage of 1.25 volts if the voltage provided is unstable and more than 100 milivolts the wattage increases and more heat is generated.and there is a chance the cpu can die.

Hey i still didn't find anyone to borrow me a PSU untill then... i was thinking the CPU voltage could be too low or to high ? Can i check that with any program and then make a screenshot to see if something is wrong ?

the cpu should not be overeating .what i want you to do is disconnect every fan in your case except cpu and videocard.and disconnect cd rom and every peripheral.except keyboard and mouse.and play a game with the computer case closed.
when you replaced thermal grease check if everything is fitted firmly.

when you replaced thermal grease check if everything is fitted firmly.

I just run a game (Minecraft) with only the internet , the speakers , and mouse keyboard. Also in the case i just gave power to the CPU and GPU fans , disconnected aswell the cd rom. I had 80 C , for surely it was shutting down.

did you run prime 95?if not run it on the profile for overheating and monitor your temps with core temp or hwmonitor.

I did run core temp and it showed 80 C .. then i closed the game. The PC whould shut down.. if i torture test it with prime95 it will shutdown for sure..

Now like 27 - 29 , when i was playing i had like 22 Celsius , but sometimes i tested in like 12 - 13 C and is still heating , so isn't really a problem of room temperature.

How much thermal paste did you use? It should only be the size of a water drop. Then spread it out a little. Did you place the CPU heatsink correctly? Have you tried another aftermarket CPU cooler? Stock coolers suck.

I tried everyone of those , cpu heatsink and thermal paste are well applied and i changed the stock fan. Also i have 2 radiators , the stock one is taller and the other new one is smaller , should i use the newer because it brings the fan closer to the CPU ? And yes it should't shut down even with the stock...
