hi,i upgraded my pc this january and was apparently using stock cooler for the cpu.last month i started getting a lot of stuttering for games.the fps drops were drastic. To my suprise i found stuttering in DOTA 2 also.So i did a temp check on my gpu which seemed fine.it was 38 c in idle and 60-70 c in full load.I checked out my cpu temp today and the thermal status in idle was hot or log(i dont know what that means).i used gpu-z for my gpu and real temp for the cpu.So i think i should be changing my cooler.i m open to suggestions about liquid and air.how bout the corsair H90 or H80i.please help.thanks.Btw i reside in India and it gets friggin hot in summer.

MY SPECS:
i7 4770k @3.5ghz
asus DCii gtx 770
corsair vengeance 8 GB @ 1600Mhz
Gigabyte z87(forgot the model)
antec vp 650 W
cooler master haf 912 advanced edition

If u guys can suggest a full tower case and power supply(not more than 650 W).that would be helpful.thanks🙂

It might not be the cooler, it might just be the thermal paste, remove the CPU cooler and check if the thermal paste is still okay. If it's okay, then it's probably your cooler, if it's dried or hard, it's no good and needs to be removed and reapplied.

Here's a big post of PSU's, feel free to pick one to your heart's content! http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Those temps actually seem very good considering you live in a hot country. That means either the amount of power that is supplied to the machine is fluctuating or, the hdd may have some bad sectors.

This assumes that the case is not filled with dust.
