Hello,

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this issue. Recently I've been having issues with my CPU overheating while playing Apex Legends. I purchased the computer last October pre-built from I Buy Power and haven't had any issues gaming till now (Escape from Tarkov, Warzone, Valorant, PUBG). As soon as I load up Apex my CPU shoots up to 85-90 C, before I even get into a game. My GPU seems to be fine, but it's constantly now using like 50-60%, while the CPU is at like 100%. I Just re-installed Windows and it seems to be worse than before. Sorry if I'm not explaining this correctly, I'm a PC noob, hence asking here. Wondering if I Buy Power didn't apply thermal paste correctly, or if Windows updated and screwed my settings but kinda out of options on what to do.

Solution
Yeah just buy a decent air cooler and problem solved.
I would even go a bit past that and tell them I have no clue how to install it and the local shop is going to charge me 50 bucks so I need to be reimbursed for that charge.

Then sell the new cooler and buy a 240mm rad or a good air cooler.
