CPU overheating pls help

Hello, my cpu keeps overeating. at startup it will be at 80degrees, and when playing games it will go to a 100+. i have reapplied thermal paste, case, and CPU cooler. but it still is at 80 degrees. i need help if anyone knows


my processor is a A10-7680K processor R7 3.6ghz

Just to be sure... We are speaking in terms of C, correct?

If so, then the cooler is definitely not making contact with the CPU, and something is wrong with the installation. On startup, assuming there is ample contact between the bottom of the cooler and the CPU, even if a fan isn't turning there is no way it will be 80C. It's not a huge heatsink like something you'd see on an H5, but the passive cooling from simply moving the heat into the metal of the heatsink would easily keep it under 80C on startup.
