CPU Overheating problem

Hey, I recenty bought a new self build pc with a "Intel Core i7 4790K" and a metal CPU cooler and I've been playing some games and testing my tempurature with HWMonitor and it goes up to about 100 degrees do I have to worry about this or is this normal,

Its not normal, download prime95 and check in HWMonitor your vcore voltage.
Can u find out what kind of cooler u have? How big it is?

Please post the full specs.

85+'C would be considered 'hot', and at 100'C you're hitting the tjMax, so you should be experiencing throttling.

My coolers don't really have a name but it says 2295 RPM

Are you using the Celcius or Farenheit scale?
Which cooler is installed? If you can't recognise it, upload a pic of it.

That is the speed of your fan. Sounds to me like you didn't use any thermal paste when you installed the CPU cooler.

I thought that as well. If he was playing games and only getting to 100F though then he would have the best cooling solution in the world don't you think. 100F only comes out to 37C. I'm thinking thermal paste was overlooked during the cooler install.
