Cpu overheating up to 89° C

My cpu just now starting heating up ridiculously hot even in the bios. I applied some fresh thermal past to no avail and even restored default settings. No matter what it will not cool properly and I'm stumped. I7 6700k cpu, evga 750w gold supernova Psu, asus maximus hero viii mobo running Windows 8.1. Literally played games an hour ago and it was fine. Cooler is a corsair h110i watercooling loop

I know it sucks but I have seen it happen.
to test if the pump is bad put a hand on it you will feel a small vibration no vib bad pump

The h110I at the time was 140 or so, in that ballpark
