Cpu overheating up to 89° C

My cpu just now starting heating up ridiculously hot even in the bios. I applied some fresh thermal past to no avail and even restored default settings. No matter what it will not cool properly and I'm stumped. I7 6700k cpu, evga 750w gold supernova Psu, asus maximus hero viii mobo running Windows 8.1. Literally played games an hour ago and it was fine. Cooler is a corsair h110i watercooling loop

are you sure that the temp shown is correct , some often give false readings.
Try something else than the bios

what is your CPU cooler
If you have a all in one water cooler the pump may be out

used speedfan to also verify temp, i noticed intiailly because the fans just started spinning faster and faster at the desktop. i hope the pump wouldnt be out after a year...

I know it sucks but I have seen it happen.
to test if the pump is bad put a hand on it you will feel a small vibration no vib bad pump

i didnt really feel it vibrating but then again ive never really felt it while it was on. can anyone recommend a replacement cpu watercooling loop?
