Question CPU overheating

Specs:
i7 12700k
NVIDIA 3060 ti graphics card
gigabyte B660M DS3H DDR4 motherboard
corsair icue h100i elite capellix cpu cooler (brand new)
EVGA supernova 750w GA 80+ power supply

My cpu temp rises to 99+ degrees celsius. I just got a new cpu cooler (thought old one went bad) and it is still doing the same thing. Had the pc for almost 5 months and before it was fine i cant do anything on it besides going into bios to see the cpu temp rising and shuts down due to overheating. PLEASE help lol i have no idea what to do now that i got a nee cpu cooler.

Make sure plastic was removed from bottom of pump/block.

Double check your wiring and go over the installation manual again.
