I ran an Aida64 CPU stress test with FPU and CPU.
The CPU package reached 106 something can somebody explain to me if this is dangerous?

Goatsesss,

76°C is fine.

AIDA64 might be reading the voltage regulators (VRM's) and incorrectly labeling them as "package" temperature. I would trust HWInfo, which is an excellent utility and is highly detailed.

4th Generation processors have a "Fully Integrated Voltage Regulator" (FIVR) on the package, however, package temperature in most monitoring utilities is typically the hottest core. Regardless, that particular sensor may be glitchy.

Core temperatures are the most critical measurement of processor temperature. Click on my signature and check out our Guide.

Yes 106C is above maximum temp for any CPU (that I know of).

When asking for help on the forum you should always include your full system hardware specs. (CPU, CPU cooler, etc.)

Something is defitely wrong with your CPU cooler. Check to ensure it is properly installed and not come loose.

Have you performaned CPU overclocking on this system?
