So I've had my computer for a bit now, I put it together myself as my first build and I've just been monitoring all of the temperatures occasionally still to make sure everything is working as it should. I don't have a total idea though as to what the temperatures of my things should be though, as it seems wherever I look someone says something different. I have an i5 4690k and an Asus Z97-a 3.1USB Motherboard. While I don't monitor the temperatures every single second, especially while I'm actually playing games, the temperatures never seem to go very high for the CPU. As an example, running a game like Skyrim along with 200+ mods the temperature doesn't actually seem to go up, I don't think I've ever seen it pass the 50c mark when I'm doing anything, the highest I've seen is high 40's with my fans on just medium speed, though I don't know how to properly monitor it aside from looking back and forth at the program I use to view such things, which is just what by default came with my computer. However the PCH stays around 60, some said around 80 is dangerous, and 90 is critical, but I've always seen it stay in that range, only going 1c or 2c higher. My motherboard always seems to be about the same too, at around 37c average.
So apologies for the wall of text, but are these temperatures acceptable? Is there another way I should be monitoring these temps? I'm using AI Suite 3.
So to add to, I downloaded a separate monitoring program to check my temps and my CPU temps did go over 50, though has yet to jump over 60 even once at all. As the average weather temperature here is 100, I'm kind of surprised it isn't higher.
