One pin on on the socket where I plan to run my Intel i5 CPU is damaged.
It is an LGA1150 socket design, and the broken pin occupies space AR-39 as demonstrated on this diagram: https://www.overclock.net/media/no-title.4417777/full.
I know that not all pins are essential, and am praying that this is one of those Pins.
The intel website has a datasheet (https://www.intel.com/content/dam/w...eets/2nd-gen-core-desktop-vol-1-datasheet.pdf) that lists this pins name as being SA_DQ(44) with a description being: Data Bus: Channel A data signal interface to the SDRAM data bus.
If anyone could make sense of this it would be beyond appreciated, I really hope this is a nonessential pin.
