Are you certain the motherboard has a BIOS revision that recognizes your 3600?

EXACT model name of the motherboard would be helpful, and when you bought it or how old it is if you got it used.

Also, the rest of the system specs: memory, CPU cooler, PSU at least. Brand and model.
