[SOLVED] CPU Problem with starting

Soo i was with RYZEN 3 1200, and i changed it to RYZEN 7 2700x. When it was all done i connected everything and tapped the start button of my PC.
It all started as usually, but I dont get any video on my screen, neither my mouse&keyboard are lighting and i thought its not a problem of the CPU...but i can't fix it...Need help sonn pls...Love ya

I was with R3 1200 and i changed it to R7 2700x. It all went perfect, but when i started the PC, the monitor was black, my mouse&keyboard and headset weren't lighting too... And i cant run my PC... I dont know where is the problem, because I don't understand much of BIOS,Windows, and others. I need help

what motherboard do you have?

The thing is, R3 1200 came out with motherbords with a 300-Series Chipset.
This 300-Series Chipset does support the 2000-Series Ryzen CPUs, but you need a Bios update because otherwise the Motherboard doenst recognise your CPU and goes like "This doenst belong to me, get it out" and wont boot.

Depending on what motherboard you have that might be the issue

Best thing would be if you still have your R3 1200.
Put it back into the Motherboard - it should start without any problems
Then update your Bios, there are good videos on youtube how to do it in your MSI Mobo.

After the Update you can put your R7 back into your System and it should work just fine.

Normally to get into BIOs your keep pressing DELETE on start up, however you will need a display output to navigate the menus.

Why are you trying to get into BIOS, what do you need to do?

Is this a new build? Have you had display output previously?

Depends on the change you made.
Can you list specs of your pc and model names of both cpus?
It may be necessary to update BIOS before change.

Im trying to start my PC, i just changed my CPU and now i dont get any respond of my monitor&mouse and keyboard. I just want to start everything as usually but i dont know how?

You have to update BIOS to latest version before changing cpus.

In order to flash the motherboard you need the old Ryzen installed.

You need a 1000- Series Ryzen, boot with it atleast into Bios and then flash a new one. Most Mobos have Software features that allow you to flash the BIOS inside the OS
