If i have a socket 370 mainboard, running a 633 celeron, would a socket 370 pentium III 1Ghz run in the same mainboard?

Well,it really depends on your motherboard (what brand and which model is yours?), as well as what BIOS you've got.

I have no idea, i know it will run to 133Mhz!
is there a program that'll identify my motherboeard and bios version?

It should run a PIII 1000 just fine. No garuntees that this is supported by your BIOS, but it should be. The Cely 633 is an FC-PGA processor, so the board itself should be PIII compatable.
