I was looking to build or buy a some new PCs that had a 13900k, but considering, how 13900k's and 14900k's have been dropping like flies, I wasn't sure if getting a 13900k would be a good idea, Could a 12900k/12700k work too? Or too "ancient" Also how would a 4080 Super or 4070 Ti Or 4090 (If lucky) work with such a "old" CPU.... If I do get a 13900k how can I keep it from dying early (P.S I'm not huge on overclocking or OC'ing)

Or should I jump over to AMD and get Ryzen 7000 series CPUs or wait until Ryzen 9000 Series?

Not sure what to do.... Would defiantly be better than a 10+ Yr old 4770k

What applications will you be using?

Content creation: 13th/14th Gen Intel is most performant. Ryzen 7000 edges out Intel 12th Gen.
Gaming: Ryzen X3D series probably the most performant.
Personally I'd wait for Ryzen 9000 series.

With the problems 13th/14th i7/i9s (think only k/kf skus are affected but not sure) have been having I'd be hesitant. There are workarounds though, albeit 12th gen is still very adequate as an alternative. Or wait for 9000 series Ryzen, yeah.
