CPU, RAM, and Motherboard compatible?

CPU: I7-4790k

Motherboard: MSI Gaming 5

RAM: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

I've heard that the motherboard and the CPU might not work together, but I've also heard that it works as well. Can anyone clear this up? Thanks

MSI Gaming 5 < if this is a Z97 board all these are compatible.

You can put all your parts in the "your build" tab on pcpartpicker and it will tell you all the compatibility issues if there are any.

Yes those 3 are compatible , since it's a Z97 board.
