cpu reaching 76 degrees!

i have an i5 4690 non k and i have stock cooler and when my cpu is at 100% my cpu is at 76-77 degrees when i game my cpu is at 61-72 is it ok for the tiem being until i get my new cooler or is my cpu degrading with such temps? do i damage my cpu critically?

76 is fine for 100% on the stock cooler. If you're concerned buy an aftermarket cooler, I'd recommend anything noctua makes or the evo 212 depending on your budget. I'm running a 4690k @ 4.6 ghz with a noctua NH-L12 and my temps never go above 60 in game. So any cooler that size or bigger on your non OC'd chip should keep it in the 40-50 range. But to answer your question, no it isn't going to hurt your CPU, most computer parts will throttle or shut off in the event they get hot enough to do damage.
