Some background

One day when I was using the PC, it kept rebooting continuously when ordered to shutdown. Thus I forced switched it off by switching off the PSU on/off button.

The next day the PC would not boot, no power, nothing.

Brought in motherboard for RMA, motherboard was actually working fine but the LAN port was spoilt, so was given a new set. New set was tested and was working fine.

Called in computer tech guy, he tested with his PSU, PC booted but kept restarting. Same issue with my PSU. He concluded it was a problem with my processor.

Sent in processor for RMA, received a BRAND NEW one in a sealed box just today.

But same issue.

Have a spare PSU lying around and tested it. Same issue.

Cleared CMOS but problem persists.

Specs are as follows:

GIGABYTE Z77X D3H
