I haven't been able to get my machine to display AT ALL after swapping out the SSD for a HDD, and changing the memory.

Now there is no display, everything starts up and spins, but no display. I have checked all cables, tried the old memory, and reseated everything. Any Ideas?

asus m4a89gtd pro/usb3
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
WD Green 2TB
Corsair/G-Skill/A-Data Memory (All tried, one stick at a time, in all four slots)
Asus Radeon 6950

Solution
If you have just built the system.
You must first attach the video cable from the monitor to the video ports on the back of the motherboard.
You must then enter the bios and change the primary graphics display adapter option to Pci-E.
Since you have a Pci-e based 6950 based card in the pci-e slot of the motherboard.
If you have the option to turn on board video off do so.

Save the settings in the bios before exiting it.
Now swap your cable back to the Vga/Dvi ports.

You should get a picture then.
If it still fails to post properly check you have connected the 8 pin block from the psu to the motherboard 8 pin socket, it will be located around or near the cpu socket, usually black in color.
Make sure you have also connected any 12v...

Make sure you have also connected any 12v Pci-e power conectors to the back or side edge of the 6950 card also.
Red light can mean no power via eight pin from psu to board.
