I've had my pc for roughly a year now and today I started getting messages which read "cpu over temperature error" and the cpu is at a constant 89° Celsius. Pc also boots perfectly except for that message and cpu temperature.
I've read that the one cause of this is that a wire could have came loose on the cpu cooler but everything is in.
Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this?
my cpu is a i7 67k, kraken x52 cooler, and a strix z270e motherboard.
