Hi so let me explain.

so all my motherboard's USB slots are taken rn, and i need one of them to control the RGB on my new cpu cooler. (Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi)

I don't know much about motherboards (as my pc was prebuilt) but the usb seems to have like a power connector on it or something like that.

Is there any way around this problem? I've provided the pdf link for my motherboard.

Anything helps, thanks!

You provided a local link to the pdf file of your motherboard's manual (which isn't required...) and here's the download link -> http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-ab350-gaming3_e.pdf

You basically need more USB ports on your build. You're better off buying a PCIe_x1 to 2x or 4x USB3.0 / USB2.0 cards from Amazon (or from a local place if you can).

Here's a random google images result ->

Your motherboard has three of those PCIe_x1 slots and most probably your case supports it too. Keep in mind the 4-pin MOLEX power connector at the back of that card. (some cards have SATA too, depends on which one you buy).

I can't understand what that "power connector or something like that" exactly is, take a photo of it and upload it to any image hosting website (imgur or prntscr) and reply with the link here.

im not too sure what it is but my motherboard has LED's so it could have something to do with that. perhaps i could try unplugging and see if that has an effect?

I can't understand anything at all from that pic. idk, circle the power connector? And from the pic, everything seems to be plugged in already. If everything is plugged in already and all you need is an extra USB port, what's the problem now?

The LEDs your motherboard has, are connected internally, you can't "unplug" them.

Your system is prebuilt and it doesn't seem like you'd be willing to open the case and do something yourself. Try contacting the company or whatever (where you bought this build from), get to them with some support email and describe your issue there, that'd be much better.

BTW in the image, at the bottom-most, those two series of cables are USB 2.0 header ports, 4 empty pins (a fan header) then the big black cable is your front panel USB3.0 header ports, and after that, 4-pin RGB LED Header, followed by finally, the front panel I/O (Power/Reset/IDE_LED/PWR_LED) [and that's empty? doesn't make sense]
