i have got this problem in all my computer now..
and it just slows down the computer like hell..

is it a ADware BUGs or a virus???
anyone got the same problem..
i know i am not alone...

the CPU usage under task manager is 100% and
the listed explorer.exe is like using 50mb-120mb..
where nothing is running!!!
can someone tell me why?

Look under the processes tab in your task manager and see which process has a high number in the CPU column. That'll be your problem. (not System Idle Process)

OK.... One more time...

1. Do a virus scan with an UP-TO-DATE virus scanner.

2. Run Ad-Aware with the most recent definitions files (update).

3. Stop D/L crap from the NET, you DON'T need that crap

4. Install ALL security patches from Windows Update and if you are not sure what to install, install EVERY damn patch/update/fix that is listed there. You will probably have to reboot 100 times (blame MicroSoft).

5. Install a FIREWALL. It's FREE and it will secure your PC.

6. Never ask again was is wrong when 100% of your CPU is used by virus/spyware...

Have fun!

Lookin' to fill that GOD shape hole!

Go to PC World and download Spybot. It will kill every cookie enabled that you don't want. Adaware is great, but you need Spybot too! You won't believe the crap that loads up on your PC!

put normal OS in and stop complaining (w2k will do). Explorer.exe IS a known bug in XP, download patch from MS.

PS: restarting Explorer manually will fix it for a little bit also.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...
